We're pretty sure you'll think we're a bunch of jerks. Seriously, we decided to get some burgers, some beers, and a couple of microphones, and free-form a show in true podcast fashion. The result? Two-plus hours of hilarity, humility, and camaraderie, at least in our own opinions. We also discussed how "Spooky Southcoast" came about, and our initial encounters with the paranormal that led to our life-long interest in all things unexplainable. 4.15.2006: Peter Robbins An incredible two hour discussion on the Rendlesham UFO incident of December 1980 with our very special guest, Peter Robbins. Peter, after nine years of research, co-authored the book "Left at East Gate" about the incident with Larry Warren, the whistleblower for a UFO sighting the United States government doesn't want you to know about. Peter revealed some very key factors as to why that's the case--why would these ships fly directly over a US military base on British soil that was housing top secret nuclear weapons (which, of course, was a violation of their treaty with the UK) and shine lights down from above, and how did they know what was there? Listen to this incredibly enlightening show and you'll find out. This is also one of the few UFO sightings with hard evidence that is actually officially recognized by the U.S. military. You'll hear the entire 18-minute recording made at the base by Col. Charles Halt, describing in incredible detail exactly what was going on, as it happened. It's also one of the few places on the web to find this file in MP3 format, if you'd like to add it to your own collection of evidence. Since Peter doesn't do many interviews any more, we got his reaction to a report from the British show "Inside Out" alleging the whole incident was a hoax. You won't want to miss this show! Time: 1 Hour, 40 Minutes
